View Animation
BMX cycling was a new event at the Olympics this summer, so I chose to represent that instead of track cycling or road biking. What happens pretty often with BMX racing is that one person will wipe, causing others following close behind to do the same.
Suggestions are appreciated!

+ Creative and effective use of the frame space, having a variety of compositions.
+ Transition design communicates the concept well.
+ General animation gets the idea across quickly.
- Could try making the hero bike wheels spin a bit faster.
- Distance from the main bike wheels to the last character is somewhat inconsistent during smooth contact.
- A couple of the jumps, the first two, appear a bit unnatural. It feels like the bike is jumping or forcing it self off the ground more so than having the forces reflected off the surface from the initial impact.
+ Transition from empty space into 'bumpy road' looks and works very nicely, making good use of the frame area.
+ Use of just the three letters keeps the imagery very simple, clear and easy to follow.
+ pileup of bikes at the end was a nice touch...
- ...but looked a little like the first bike just fell randomly onto an existing pile; could show a few bikes 'racing' together at the very end, then crashing into each other.
- Might have the bike race all the way to the top of the loop before falling, to make it clear it isn't rolling backwards to the bottom.
- the rotation of the front wheel is a bit slow/inconsistent in places
